The Central Grounds Parking Garage is located at:
From NoVA, D.C., MD, Points North:
Take I66W towards Manassas. Take US 29S (Gainesville/Warrenton, Exit
43B). Follow 29S all the way to Charlottesville. When you are <30mi. north of Charlottesville, SLOW DOWN! There are several speed traps in that area!
As you enter Charlottesville, you will pass Walmart/Sam's Club on the
right, followed by Kroger/Blockbuster shopping center. Keep going straight on 29S, which will become Emmet Street. When you pass the tennis courts on your left, slow down. Turn left into the visitor parking garage just past Memorial Gym.
After you park, go up the stairs to the other side of the garage, and exit onto Grounds. Newcomb Hall is in front of you and to your right.
From Richmond, Hampton Roads, Points East:
Take I64W, towards Charlottesville and Staunton. Take Exit 124
(Charlottesville/Shadwell) onto US 250W, and follow onto the 250 bypass
to US 29S (Emmet Street). Take 29S past the Barracks Road Shopping Center on the right, go straight through the lights on Massie and Ivy, and make a left into the Visitor Parking Garage just past the tennis courts and Memorial Gym.
From Harrisonburg, Roanoke, points West:
Take I64E towards Charlottesville. Exit on 118B to Charlottesville,
US29. The best way to get to Newcomb Hall Ballroom is to take 29N into
Charlottesville. Take US29 Business exit towards the Charlottesville
exit, and then make a right going north towards University of Virginia- the road will be Fontaine, and after two lights will become Jefferson Park Avenue. Continue taking JPA to a 'T' in the road at a stoplight. Make a leftagain onto JPAwhich will curve to the right becoming Emmett Street. Shortly after that, make a right into the Visitor Parking Garage. Once parked, take the stairs or elevator to the top of the garage. As you exit the garage, you should see Newcomb Hall right in front of you. Take the stairs to the 3rd floor where the Ballroom is located.

Use the same directions as above to get to the Central Grounds Parking Garage. Take the stairs or elevator to the top floor (at the bookstore) and take a right on Newcomb Rd. Go past Brown Residential College (on the left) and take a right on McCormick Rd.
Go over the bridge accross Rt. 29 (Emmett), past the Physics building (on the right) and the McCormick (Old) Dorms (on the right). Cross Alderman Rd to get to the Observatory Hill Dining Facility.
The Forum is located at the back of the dining hall. Walk on the sidewalk along the left of the building until you see a sign for the Forum.
