Wait, what's going on? Blue Ridge whaty exwhat?

If you haven't been to to a lindy exchange yet, you've missed out on something. We're showcasing everything the great city of Charlottseville has to offer in an all-weekend swing dance extravaganza. We'll be dancing on the downtown mall, in various dance studios all over town, on the grounds of UVA, and more. You'll be hearing from local bands comprised of young Wahoos. So mark your calendars for April 4^th-5^th, 2009 and come find out what makes the Charlottesville swing-scene unique!

How much is it going to cost me?

This exchange is specially designed for a college student's budget (a.k.a. "fun sized"). For the $30 you get four dances and a place to sleep that isn't with your roommates. You can practically find that much between the sofa cusions. So start digging!

Well, that's nice and all, but I don't live in Charlottesville, and I don't fancy staying at some cheap-o motel (a.k.a. "cocroach petting zoo"). What should I do?

Just like Blue Ridge Boogie, the kind, clean, hospitable members of the Swing Club at UVA will be opening their futons to visiting students. There's just one little catch: We need volunteers! If you're a student interested in free housing, all you have to do is volunteer for one measly little hour. If you're interested, shoot us an email!

OK, so you've convinced me, I'm coming. So how do I sign up?

Right here my good friend! We accept payment via PayPal, or you can mail us a check. Or just send your credit card number, your address, your social security number, a copy of your birth certificate, and two valid photo IDs.

OK, I'm coming, and not only that but I (a) Play in a swing/jazz band or (b) Have a routine to show! Can I perform?
