UVA Parking Garage

400 S Emmet St
Charlottesville, VA 22903

This is where you'll want to park for a majority of the events.

FROM NORTH:

Take rt.29 south toward Charlottesville.
Once you pass Ivy Rd / University Ave, the parking garage is 0.2mi ahead on the left.

FROM EAST/WEST:

Take rt.64 towards Charlottesville
Take Exit 118-B toward Charlottesville
Take the US-250-BUS exit toward Charlottesville/Wayesboro
Turn right onto Ivy Rd toward Charlottesville
Turn right onto S Emmet St (rt. 29)
The parking garage is 0.2mi ahead on the left.

Newcomb Ballroom

(From the UVA Parking Garage) Take the elevator to the 4th floor.
Disembark the elevator.
Turn right and walk straight into Newcomb Hall. Do not turn left. Do not be tempted by the bookstore's overpriced novelty items and t-shirts. If you have money to burn, the Swing Club will gladly accept donations.
Go to the 3rd floor of Newcomb. Follow the music.

The Forum @ O-Hill

Walk or Drive: 0.6 mi
(From the UVA Parking Garage) Continue south down Emmet St.
Take the ramp and turn right on McCormick Rd.
At Alderman Rd, you have two options:
- Option 1: Go straight accross Alderman and try to park next to O-Hill.
- Option 2: Turn left on Alderman and try to find parking at the AFC or the Stadium and walk to O-Hill
Observatory Hill Dining Facility is the big building at the intersection of Alderman and McCormick. If you're facing it, walk down the sidewalk on the left. The door the Forum will be on your right. There's a sign.

The Rotunda

(From the UVA Parking Garage) Take the elevator to the 4th floor (the Bookstore)
Walk towards Newcomb Hall, take the stairs on the right up to the top, and follow the walkway to McCormick Rd.
Turn left on McCormick Rd. Walk all the way down along the West Range to the Chapel
Turn right. Whoomp, there it is. The north terrace is the patio on the side facing University Ave.

Option 1: Orange Route Bus

(From the UVA Parking Garage) Take the elevator to the 4th floor (the Bookstore)
Walk towards Newcomb Hall, take the stairs on the right up to the top, and follow the walkway to McCormick Rd.
Turn left on McCormick Rd. Walk all the way down along the West Range and stop at the Chapel Bus Stop
Take the Orange Route towards Rugby Rd. Get off at Beta Bridge.
Walk North on Rugby to Gordon Ave. It's the white house on the corner of Gordon and Rugby.

Option 2: Walk (0.3 miles from the Rotunda)

(From the UVA Parking Garage) Take the elevator to the 4th floor (the Bookstore)
Walk towards Newcomb Hall, take the stairs on the right up to the top, and follow the walkway to McCormick Rd.
Turn left on McCormick Rd. Walk all the way down along the West Range.
Cross University Ave and continue up Rugby Rd, passing Mad Bowl (the big field) and Beta Bridge.
It's the white house on the corner of Rugby and Gordon.

Option 3: Drive

(From the UVA Parking Garage) Head north on Emmet ST (0.2 mi)
Turn Right on University Ave (0.3 mi)
Turn Left on Rugby Rd (0.3 mi)
It's the white house ont he corner of Rugby and Gordon. Parking isn't great around here, so you may have to hunt for a while.
